Delancey Street Location of Cocoron Shutters

The original location of noodle favorite Cocoron has closed. Now those looking to get their soba and noodle-themed cartoon character fix will have to head five blocks west to the restaurant's outpost at 37 Kenmare Street. According to Bowery Boogie, the teeny Delancey Street spot has been showing signs of trouble since last month, when it closed "sporadically" without explanation. Now it's done for good, apparently so that management can focus on the bigger spot on Kenmare.
