Tao Downtown chef Ralph Scamardella says that not only did he scour restaurants all over Asia for new dishes to serve at his new outpost, he also recruited chefs from the region as well. Scamardella also adds that the new staff is from China, Singapore and Japan, and that "they are all living in a house in Staten Island now." Now that's a reality show! The restaurant will be soft opening later this week and apparently will be giving diners a discount of 20 percent. [WWD]
