Eater National checks in with Maricel Presilla, the chef and co-owner of Hoboken's Zafra, Cucharamama, and Ultramarinos, all of which were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Over the last year, she repaired and reopened her restaurants and published the James Beard Award winning Gran Cocina Latina, which was over 40 years in the making. Presilla says that "Hoboken is back," but notes that the threat of flooding from superstorms is "a problem that's not going away." [Eater National]
