BOOK DEALS—Famed butcher and reality TV star Pat LaFrieda has a book coming out next year called Meat: Everything There Is to Know. It will have butchering instructions and over 75 recipes, including dishes from chefs like Josh Capon, Cesare Casella, Lidia Bastianich, and Michael Toscano. NOHO — On Wednesday, November 27, Mile End Delicatessen on Bond Street will serve a special Chanukah dinner. All the holiday favorites like latkes, kugel, and brisket will be offered on the $45 prix fixe menu. The restaurant is accepting reservations for the special dinner over the phone and on OpenTable right now. EAST VILLAGE — Heathers closed this week, possibly for good. Owners Ray Lemoine and Michael Herman tell Grub Street that the locks have been changed, and that it looks like the landlord has given them the boot. They previously established an end date on December 13. Lemoine and Herman hope to open another location of the bar soon. [Grub Street]
