Slate's L.V. Anderson shoots down New York's trend piece about restaurants that seat guests on staircases. From the rant: "Of the four establishments mentioned in New York's squib, not one actually asks people to sit on steps that other people are walking up and down. One restaurant, Tao Downtown, has a few tables in nooks on each side of a staircase leading to the main dining room." [Slate]
