The former and current Times restaurant critics sat down for a panel discussion over the weekend as part of the NYC Food & Wine Festival. Ruth Reichl, on reviewing multiple restaurants a night: "I always carry plastic bags in my purse, because you don't want the waiter to come over and say, you know, why didn't you eat your food? ...It was a lot of shoving food into plastic bags when no one was looking."
