Bryan McGuire Leaves '21'; Zakarian's Market Brunch

MIDTOWN — Bryan McGuire, the general manager of the "21" Club, has retired from the restaurant after over 25 years of service. He was replaced this week by Theodore "Teddy" Suric, whose resume includes years of work at David Burke Townhouse, Le Cirque, and Delmonico's Steakhouse. [EaterWire]

CHELSEA — Geoffrey Zakarian is hosting a Greenmarket Brunch at this year's NYC Food & Wine Festival. He along with Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Dan Kluger, Jonathan Waxman, Marco Canora, Floyd Cardoz, and Gavin Kaysen will team up with a local farmer to make a dish centered on a single ingredient. The meal takes place at the Standard Hotel on Saturday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $150 online. [EaterWire]
