The famed Water Club reopens for dinner tonight, after nearly a year of work to repair the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. The restaurant's private event space reopened in May, and the Crow's Nest Bar was up and running for the summer months, but owner Michael "Buzzy" O'Keeffe has been busy working on the renovation of the main dining room up until now. Starting tonight, The Water Club will be open for dinner Thursdays through Sundays. It's equally iconic sister restaurant The River Cafe is still closed for all but private events, although O'Keefe is planning a Sandy anniversary party at the end of the month.
