Photographer Adam Woodward is convinced that he discovered the remnants of Colonial-era bar the Bull's Head Tavern in a construction site on the Bowery. Woodward tells the Times: "I can't think of another lot in Manhattan that has a more important history...and the fact that it might be intact, a couple of feet under the building, is an incredible opportunity to get on archaeological record."
