Hurricane Sandy snuffed out Locanda Verde's Trufflepalooza last year, but the feast will make its triumphant return on November 4. Guests at the event will get three courses of white truffle-heavy food from chefs Andrew Carmellini, Nancy Tran, and Ron Rosselli for $70. This year's menu includes things like veal carpaccio, sheep's milk gnocchi, fonduta ravioli, and white truffle gelato. Locanda is now accepting reservations for this truffle bacchanal over the phone at 212 925-3797. It's going to be a blizzard of funky white flakes all night long.

As a bonus, Carmellini and his crew are giving away a free reservation and dinner for two to one lucky Eater reader. For a chance at winning, tweet a message about why you most deserve the free dinner to @andrecarmellini or @baldorfood (the truffle supplier). Carmellini will re-tweet the winner next week.
