Dale Talde, Dave Massoni, and John Bush are planning to open a location of their hit Park Slope restaurant Talde at 8 Erie St. in Downtown Jersey City. Massoni tells NJ.com: "The neighborhood was really the draw here in Jersey City....It just feels right and fits." The new restaurant will inhabit a space that formerly housed a police station, and its neighbor will be a new Italian restaurant from Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri of HGTV's Kitchen Cousins.
Talde notes: "You have to care about the food, it's really a craft....So combining these two types of food – Asian and Italian – gives us the opportunity to play with ingredients." Talde Jersey City will be the fourth restaurant owned and operated by Talde, Massoni, and Bush. It's slated to open next fall.
