WEST VILLAGE — Starting this weekend, Harold Dieterle's The Marrow is going to start offering a three-course menu of American classics for $40 on Sunday and Monday nights, and all of the bottles on the restaurant's Riesling list will be half-off. The first menu will include things like a Caesar salad, Hampshire porchetta, and an olive oil cake. They're calling this the "roasted classics" dinner series. [EaterWire]
SOHO — Former Ciano sommelier John Slover is now working at Charlie Bird two nights a week, along with Grant Reynolds. Stop by and say hello. [EaterWire]
PIZZAWIRE — Eater National rounds up the 24 hottest pizzerias in America. The Williamsburg location of Motorino, and Milkflower in Astoria make the cut. [EaterWire]
COLLABORATIONS — Kyle Itani of Oakland, California hot spot Hopscotch will cook a special dinner at the West Village location of The Meatball Shop on October 25 with Daniel Holzman and Daniel Sharp. The three chefs have been friends for a long time, and last year, the Meatball Shop boys did a pop-up at Hopscotch. So, basically this is Itani returning the favor. The five-course dinner costs $160, tax and service included. Tickets can be purchased online. [EaterWire]
