There's a new taker for the Meatpacking District space that was briefly reality TV person Scott Disick's short-lived flop Ryu (and before that a bunch of other places). A press release came across the Eater desks today flouting the Vegas restaurant and candy emporium Sugar Factory American Brasserie, which is opening up there at the end of February. Sugar Factory has a handful of retail stores around Vegas, plus one full-service restaurant at the Paris Las Vegas that draws in the famous people by the truck-loads. This one?a 3,000-square-foot restaurant and retail space?will presumably be modeled after that one.
The menu is all over the place, with waffles, burgers, crepes, pizza, salads, ahi sliders, mussels, salads, and just about everything else. Perhaps most important, though, is that Ron Weasley apparently celebrated his birthday there once.
