New, 1 comment

UPPER WEST SIDE ? Over at Lincoln Ristorante, chef Jonathan Benno is presenting a special menu focusing on the cuisine of Umbria, specifically with black truffle from Norcia, Italy and a handful of classic Umbrian dishes like fried pork cheek with escarole and lentils. Those dishes are available now through March. [EaterWire]

RED HOOK ? The massive seafood shack Brooklyn Crab is hosting a mini-golf tournament on Saturday?because remember it has a mini-golf course?with all proceeds going to benefit Restore Red Hook, the nonprofit working to get the neighborhood's businesses back open after Sandy. Entry is $10 for a team of two. [DNAinfo]

FRAUDS ? There's a Mr. Chow imposter in LA. Max Chow points out that nobody has ever worked at all four of those restaurants. [~ELA~]
