Choza Taqueria, Smokey Burger, and More Certified Open

1) Greenwich Village: The Flatiron District's Choza Taqueria has opened a second location, this one on MacDougal. The Local has the menu, which includes a number of different burritos, tacos, bowls, and salads. Status: Certified Open; 124 MacDougal St., 212-533-8226.

2) Midtown West: Smokey Burger Organic is now open, The Village Voice learns. The menu has burgers made with a whole bunch of different meats, like elk, ostrich, and bison (as well as more normal beef and turkey versions). Status: Certified Open; 339 W 44th St.

3) Upper West Side: Red Frog is the latest wine bar to open in what West Side Rag describes as a "haven" for that type of spot, in the low 70s near Columbus Avenue. It's a wine bar and charcuterie in the space that used to be a Choco Bolo location. The menu is eclectic, including pierogies and various Italian dishes. Status: Certified Open; 2058 Broadway, 212-799-2253.

4) Financial District: And way Downtown, there's a new location of the local pan-Asian chain Mooncake Foods, Midtown Lunch notices. It has the same menu as the other locations, and delivers. Status: Certified Open; 111 John St., 212-233-8808.
