Cole's Greenwich Village, a Chic American Restaurant

Last week, a team of downtown restaurateurs and nightlife players opened Cole's Greenwich Village, a New American restaurant in the old Lyon space. David Rabin (Lambs Club, Jimmy), Larry Poston (The Waverly Inn, Jimmy), Johnny Swet (Pastis, Freemans, Jimmy), and Kyle Hotchkiss Carone are partners in this project. Penny Bradley (Lyon) is the owner, and Daniel Eardley, who previously worked at Chestnut in Brooklyn, is the chef. Jimmy Bradley helped develop the opening menu as well. The appetizers are in the mid-teens, and most of the entrees are in the mid '20s, but the menu includes a burger for $18 and a pasta dish for $17.

The team kept the bones of the Lyon space intact, but the dining room received a fresh update. Check out the menu:
