Cole's Greenwich Village is now open in the West Village, taking over the space that most recently housed Lyon Bouchon Moderne. The partners here include Penny Bradley, who was also involved in Lyon, as well as David Rabin and the other guys from Jimmy and the Lambs Club. The chef is Chestnut alum Daniel Eardley. Eardley's menu focuses on straight-forward, seasonal American food like the New York strip with fries, braised beef ribs, and apple crostini. With the exception of that strip steak, the entrées all run under $30. It's open for dinner nightly from 5 to 11 p.m.
Like Lyon, the space is broken up into three rooms: the dining room, the bottle room, and the café. In keeping with the team's Jimmy connection, the cocktail list has been kicked up a notch from the Lyon days. Check out the dinner menu below, and expect photos soon.
