New, 3 comments

PIZZA WIRE ? All three locations of Forcella are running one-on-one pizza sessions with chef Giulio Adriani, starting today and running through February 21. Amateur pizzamakers can make reservations to make pizzas under Adriani's guidance on Mondays at the Gramercy Park location, Tuesdays in Williamsburg, and Wednesdays on Bowery. Call the restaurants for resys. [EaterWire]

RED HOOK ? Last week, Serious Eats checked in with the owners of La Newyorkina and Court Street Grocers, both of whom had facilities in Red Hook destroyed by Sandy. Now, Grub Street notes that La Newyorkina has taken to Kickstarter to fund rebuilding, while Patch files on Court Street Grocers' crowdfunding efforts. [GS, CGP]

WILLIAMSBURG ? Zutto alum Albert Tse's sushi supper club Mayanoki has two events coming up at Brooklyn Oenology, one this month and the other at the end of February. Tickets for the 6-8 course dinner are $105 with wine pairings, with tickets available online. [EaterWire]

FLAVORTOWN ? The Mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri, has purchased a five acre pinot noir vineyard in Sonoma County, Calif., with plans to play with organic growing techniques and open a tasting room. He hasn't decided on a name for the wine yet, but his LLC is apparently called Knuckle Sandwich. Head over to Eater National for more. [Eater National]
