Lucali to Close for a Few Days While Iacono Is in Miami

Mark Iacono's beloved pizzeria Lucali closed in October for renovations, and then reopened in December. Now Gothamist learns that Iacono will close Lucali once again so that he can look at spaces in Miami for a restaurant he wants to open. He notes: "I might be down there 10 days, I might come back after one day." If he actually gets this South Beach restaurant up and running, he's going to have to teach someone else how to make those pizzas so that the people of Carroll Gardens don't revolt. The restaurant will close after service on Sunday.
