Hurricane Sandy may have messed things up for the Great Trufflepalooza back in October, but Mother Nature can't stand in the way of Andrew Carmellini and his beloved truffles forever. If all goes according to plan, the fourth annual AC/BT dinner at Locanda Verde will take place on Monday, January 28. Carmellini and his chef de cuisine Ron Rosselli will drop black truffle shavings all over a three-courses menu for $69.99 a head. There will be dishes like duck sausage, fonduta ravioli, roasted chicken, and carrot cake, all chock full of truffles, of course. There are still openings for the truffle-tastic menu (call 212-925-3797), but tables will go fast. So get on it.
