Here's a look around The Leadbelly, the new Orchard Street oyster bar from the team behind the Fat Radish on the Lower East Side and Ruschmeyer's in Montauk. The space features a bar in the front and a cluster of tables in the back, plus a dartboard, some books, an old-timey piano, and a dansette record player. It's like the owners asked Wes Anderson to design a fisherman's living room in 1974.
The food menu includes East and West Coast oysters, plus a few shareable plates of things like beef tartare. Take a look around, and do send any early reports our way.
