Kewlness: Plywood Stripped From Guy Fieri's Restaurant

New, 4 comments

Guy Fieri's 500 seat restaurant is opening on Thursday and there's nothing you can do about it. All four neon signs are now installed, and the bright blue plywood is off the building. Over the weekend, Eater got a sneak peek inside the behemoth— it looks like an Old Navy, but with fewer clothes for sale. By the door, there's a massive sign that reads "Welcome to Flavor Town."

Guy's American Kitchen and Bar also got a fancy new website recently. It doesn't offer much in terms of menus or hours of operation, but it does feature a peek at the massive video wall that will grace the dining room. In these test shots, the big TV screen is showing pictures of things like jet planes, coyotes, and Great White sharks.
