The owners of the Royal Palms are making changes to their planned shuffleboard palace in an effort to win over their skeptical community. Ashley Albert and Jonathan Schnapp now say that they will reduce the capacity from 500 to 300 people, and hope that this and their already announced concessions will encourage the community to support their liquor license application. The Community Board meets again next week, so we won't have to wait long to see if these changes made an impact. [BP]
