Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis Return With the Opening M. Wells Dinette

Today at noon, M. Wells Dinette opened at MOMA PS 1, marking the return of Sarah Obraitis and Hugue Dufour after their short-lived cult classic M. Wells Diner closed last year. The full-service café has been remodeled by architect Guy Reziciner with cafeteria tables that pay homage to the site's original use as an elementary school, and some dishes are served on old-school metal cafeteria trays. The menu will change constantly, but as a rule Dufour is still bringing his trademark quirky style. New dishes include bibimbap made with maple syrup and oysters and, yes, freshly-ground horse tartare.

M. Wells Dinette is open during the museum's hours, Thursday to Monday from noon to 6 p.m., opening at 10 a.m. for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
