The saga of The Purple Fig just will not end. After closing for renovations, saying they'd reopen September 14, then never reopening, there's now a sign on the door that says the Dept of Health closed the restaurant for operating without a permit. Flatscreen TVs were recently installed in the space, so if it ever reopens expect a big change. [MUW]
