Here's a look around The Pines, the highly anticipated Gowanus restaurant from Aaron Lefkove and Andy Curtin of Littleneck, and chef Angelo Romano, formerly of Roberta's and dearly departed Williamsburg restaurant Masten Lake. The menu here includes antipasti, a handful of seasonal salads and vegetable dishes, two pastas, and three meaty entrees. The dining room has a worn-in feel, and the space features a huge backyard with a trellis covered in grape vines. The Pines opens for dinner tomorrow night. Check out the opening menu below:
