Pig Mountain on Saturday; New Drinks at La Esquina

FOOD FESTS — This weekend, Alex Stupak, Casa Mono's Anthony Sasso, Corton's Shawn Gale, and a handful of other talented NYC chefs will head to Narrowsburg, NY for the annual Pig Mountain fest. 10 teams will cook 10 pigs, plus "more veggies than you can shake a stick at," on Saturday. COCKTAILWIRE — Both locations of La Esquina just introduced new specialty cocktails made with fresh juices and artisanal spirits. BOOK CLUBEater National gets a peek at Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery cookbook, which comes out October 23 from Artisan. It features recipes for many of the treats served at the bakery, including croissants, macarons, and TKOs (those are the Keller-approved take on the Oreo). [Eater National]
