It doesn't look like much right now, but soon enough this vacant storefront?the former Indian restaurant Sirtaj?will be Hanjan. That's the new Flatiron restaurant by Hooni Kim, the talented chef and owner of the popular Hell's Kitchen Korean restaurant Danji. According to the Robs, Kim's calling this restaurant a joo mak, a style of Korean eatery roughly equivalent to an izakaya. Expect a November opening.
