Is Chef Shaun Hergatt Working for the BLT Restaurants?

A trusted tipster tells Eater that Shaun Hergatt has accepted a corporate chef position with the company that owns the BLT restaurants. Hergatt announced his departure from Sho Shaun Hergatt in the Financial District earlier this summer, and now word on the street is that he's working for the group that operates such crowd pleasers as BLT Steak, BLT Fish, BLT Burger, and Go Burger. Eater hears that an announcement was made within the company earlier this week.

Reps for Esquared Hospitality have not yet confirmed or denied the rumor about Hergatt. Hopefully, he hasn't dropped his plans to reopen Sho in a different location.
