Last Friday, the teams from Eleven Madison Park and Chicago's Alinea released a video that hinted at a September collaboration. And now the Times reports that, yes, as expected, the restaurants will be swapping kitchens for five days next month.
If you want to eat Alinea's food inside of the Eleven Madison Park dining room, it's going to cost you $495, plus tax and a 20 percent service charge (beverages are included). Ryan Sutton points out: "After tax & service charge, you're at $647, or $1,293 for two. That's almost $300 more than what you might spend on dinner for two at Alinea proper."
Tickets will go on sale sometime in the next few weeks.
