The Quotable Eric Asimov

New, 1 comment

2012_08_ericasimov.jpgIn his latest instance of being a stand-up guy, New York Times wine critic Eric Asimov discusses journalistic responsibility, the challenge of coming up with new ways to repeat old truths, and why he was philosophically opposed to doing a write-up on McDonalds. When asked which wines he thinks people drink too much of and which they don't drink enough of, Asimov says, "I would never try to dictate in that way. I would never tell people not to drink what they enjoy." [Gray Report]
