Pork Slope, Dale Talde's Roadhouse-Themed Pub

Feast your eyes upon Pork Slope, the new tavern from Dale Talde, Dave Massoni, and John Bush. The bar is partially inspired by the 1989 Patrick Swayze film Roadhouse, which is a movie that all male chefs between the ages of 27 and 49 love for reasons that the rest of us will never quite understand.

Pork Slope serves both dirt cheap beers and fancy craft ales, plus mixed drinks. To eat, the bar offers an inexpensive menu of greasy goodies like a cheeseburger, loaded tater tots, fried chicken, chili, wings, St. Louis-style ribs, and a pulled pork sandwich. Talde has been working on the menu for months — he recently told Eater that he had hot fried chicken Fed-Exed overnight from Nashville so that he could crack the recipe.

Pork Slope is now open for dinner and drinks, seven nights away. Check out the dining room and the bar menu above, and do send any early reports our way.
