Way back when Eric Goode and Sean MacPherson's renovation of the Jane Hotel first began, there were often rumors that the building's roof was destined to become a bar. It's been almost five years but the roof bar is finally a go, sporting unobstructed views of the Hudson and New Jersey beyond. The smallish 6th floor bar will be run by Matt Kliegman and Carlos Quirarte (who also manage the Jane Ballroom) on Wednesday through Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Apparently, it will be by invitation only. Sorry John Q. Public. It's only been open for about a month and a half, and looks like a stunner.
