New, 24 comments

All throughout Shitshow Week 2012, Eater will be doling out Restaurant Line Report Cards. Right now: Shake Shack, Brooklyn Crab, and Pok Pok.

Eater recently polled customers at Magnolia Bakery, Brooklyn Crab, and Pok Pok NY about their waiting experiences. Take a look at the results of the study above, and check out some of their reactions below. And if you're sick of waiting in restaurant lines, fear not: relief is coming.

Why are you waiting for a table at Pok Pok?
Peter: "I love Thai food. I live in Queens where there's a lot of really good Thai food, but Pok Pok has different dishes."

How long will you wait at Brooklyn Crab before deciding to go somewhere else? Rebecca: "My boyfriend and I are here celebrating our third anniversary, so this is pretty much it. I've waited as long as two hours before."

Why are you waiting at Magnolia Bakery? Kels: "I wanted to see where 'the cupcake thing' started."

Have you been to Brooklyn Crab before? Theresa: "Once. The first time the wait was five hours, so we just had a lot of drinks and left without eating."

How long will you wait at Pok Pok before deciding to go somewhere else? Joel: "In general, it's an hour. But for places like this, it doesn't matter."

How tolerable is the wait at Brooklyn Crab? "Now that I've gotten a beer and my husband has left, it's better."

Why are you waiting in line at Magnolia? "Sex and the City, and because it's in all the guidebooks."
— Polling conducted by Alex Hancock and Spencer Bronson.
