1) Upper East Side: A tipster sends in this photo from the window of neighborhood stalwart York Grill, which shuttered recently. The restaurant by Tommy and Charles Greco opened in 1995. [EaterWire]

2) Nolita: After closing due to fire and subsequently reopening last year, Pan American has shuttered for good. The shutter was noticed by a Yelper at the end of July, though Grub Street notes that the restaurant's last Facebook update was in the middle of last month. [GS, Yelp]

3) Inwood: Uptown neighborhood diner Park View Café is closing for renovations this Sunday. They hope to be back open by October with shiny new floors and an updated kitchen. [DNAinfo]

4) Tribeca: Fast food joint Kool Bloo has also shuttered, after a little less than a year on Church Street. A sign on the door says they'll open this Sunday "under new ownership," though Tribeca Citizen called the store and asked if it would still be Kool Bloo, to which the answer was "not sure." [TC]
