Loyal supporters of Coney Island's Nathan's Famous are up in arms over a change in the hot dog stand's secret French fry recipe. A spokesperson from the company claims that a poor harvest season has forced them to switch from Katahdin potatoes to Russet Burbanks which the Daily News points out are "as different as hot dogs and tofu dogs."
