As rumored last week, Tribeca favorite Duane Park will close this fall, and move into the space that currently houses the Bowery Poetry Club. Tribeca Citizen learns that the owners decided to move after the landlord spiked the rent. On Sunday and Monday nights, the people behind the Bowery Poetry Club will host events in the space.
The BPC will close for renovations later this month. No word yet on how Lady Gaga feels about the move.
