1) Washington Heights: La Marina, a massive restaurant and lounge just north of the Cloisters, officially opened yesterday, reports Flo Fab. Chef Pierre Landet is serving oysters, grilled lobster, and his chicken lollipops at this 75,000-square-foot space overlooking the Hudson. Status: Certified Open; 348 Dyckman Street, (212) 567-6300.
2) Upper West Side: Chef Alex Garcia is bringing Latin American comfort food to the Upper West Side with AG Kitchen. The menu features nine burger options, several items for the table, and a surf n' turf section. AG Kitchen is open for lunch, brunch, and dinner. 3) Roosevelt Island: Pier NYC, a waterfront cafe featuring BBQ from Josh Bowen (John Brown Smokehouse in LIC), seafood from David Santos (Um Segredo Supper Club, Per Se, Bouley NYC), and desserts from Alyssa Gangeri (AllyCakes, NYC) opens tomorrow on the West Promenade. 4) Williamsburg: Grub Street learns that a Vietnamese bar and restaurant from the owners of the recently shuttered Duke's has opened at 67 S. 6th St. Bia will start serving food on July 15, but you can enjoy a variety of craft beers on their roof deck until then. Bia is currently open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. but will also open for lunch in the coming weeks. Status: Certified Open; 67 S. 6th St., 718-388-0908.
