Terrance Brennan's Picholine to Close for Renovations

New, 7 comments

Terrance Brennan's fine dining restaurant is about to enter its 20th year (!) in business with a brand new look. Diner's Journal reports that Picholine will shutter after service on Saturday so that the space can get a facelift. It will reopen on September 6.

Breannan notes: “This will be the third major renovation...And this time it will get a more contemporary look.” The chandeliers will remain, but the dining room will be outfitted with more pomegranate hues. Once Picholine reopens, Breannan will introduce a theater prix fixe and an expanded bar menu. No word yet on whether the foie gras “shabu shabu" will stay on the menu.

Last year, Michelin demoted the restaurant from two stars to one star.
