What Will Pete Wells Award Mission Chinese Food?

New York Times critic Pete Wells just tweeted that he's "Reviewing Mission Chinese Food later today." Reviews of Danny Bowien's white-hot San Francisco import have been mostly positive so far, with the big exception being Adam Platt's one star slam, which dropped yesterday.

Pete seems to have an affinity for Chinese food (see his reviews of Cafe China and Hakkasan), and he loved Pok Pok NY, which is also small, overcrowded, and massively hyped. The safe bet here is two stars, but if the Wellsmeister really digs the thrice cooked bacon and the charitable angle of the restaurant, he might even bestow three stars.
