Southern Restaurant Gravy to Shutter Next Week

Flatiron Southern restaurant (and Shitshow Week vet) Gravy will close its doors after Restaurant Week. The 6,000 square foot restaurant opened last spring, with a "New Southern" menu and Michael Vignola (of Michael Jordan's The Steakhouse) in the kitchen. News broke in December that Vignola had parted ways with the restaurant and its multiple preparations of grits, and now according to the restaurant's Facebook page, it will shutter for good in the coming weeks.

An employee at the restaurant tells Eater that they were scheduled to close as early as Friday but may stay open through August 3.
