Watch the Trailer for Taavo Somer's Olympics Party

Isa restaurateur Taavo Somer just launched a new design company called Friends and Family. The group's first project is an Olympics opening ceremony party at the Eventi Hotel this Friday, July 27. The bash will feature: food from some of the Hester Street Fair vendors, free arcade games, "beer Olympics," an XBox hooked up to a giant screen, "Astroturf wars," fake sports commentary from comedians Jeremy Parker and Jackie Viscusie, and an "epic neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt." In other words, fun for the whole family. Check out the video trailer below:

The Eventi will also host a closing ceremony party on August 12.
