Prandial, a New American Bistro in the Flatiron District

Prandial is the new French-influenced American restaurant from Mark Stern and chef Pierre Rougey. The menu features soups, salads, and seafood plates to start, and about 10 fairly straightforward entrees like roasted chicken, steak au poivre, a pork chop, and short ribs. Rougey formerly worked as the chef de partie at Park Avenue Cafe, and as an instructor at FCI. He also received a Michelin star as the executive chef of Albert's Bar in Nice, France.
