In a few months, the Upper West Side location of Zak Pelaccio's Fatty Crab will shutter to make way for Joe Ng and Ed Schoenfeld's Red Farm. But the restaurant is not leaving the neighborhood entirely: a rep for the group tells Eater that the they are closing the restaurant due to the expiration of the current sublease, but they hope to reopen at a new location on the Upper West Side sometime soon. The management is currently scouting spaces, and they're also planning a series of private customer appreciation events later this summer. The changeover is expected to take place this fall.
