Here's a look around Woodland, a new meat-centric bar and restaurant in Park Slope. Brendan Spiro of Vandaag consulted on the opening, and he's now working as the general manager. The menu includes a lot of roasted and grilled meats, plus raw bar items, salads, soups, a burger, bar snacks, and a few vegetable dishes. Chef Merrill Moore previously worked at Hartwood restaurant in Tulum, Mexico. He's joined by butcher Jack O'Shea, who worked with Heston Blumenthal and Fergus Henderson in England.
The space features a 12 seat bar, a lounge downstairs where they plan to host live music, and a big back yard for dining and drinking. Woodland is now open for dinner seven nights a week. Check out the menu below.
