Michael White's Nicoletta, Now With Stylish Lamps

Just a quick update on Michael White's forthcoming East Village pizzeria, Nicoletta: the plywood is completely off the front of the building, and the graffiti has been scrubbed from the windows. Also, the front now features a handful of stylish, vaguely Art Deco lamps, which are helping guide East Villagers to the corner of Second Avenue and East 10th Street on this dreary, overcast day. Looks like someone was doing a little paint-touch up this morning, too.

Word on the street is that the restaurant will open at the end of next week.
