The Pizza Principle, an "economic law" that says the cost of a slice of pizza and the cost of a NYC subway ride will always correspond, has been shattered according to a Zagat survey. The average slice now costs $2.81 which is up 40 cents from last year and is 31 cents more than a single subway ride. Good news for MTA passengers, bad news for pizza lovers on a budget.[AMNY]
