Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken and star of TLC's Cake Boss is opening a Cake Boss Cafe in the Port Authority Bus Terminal. This will be the second Cake Boss Cafe in New York City — the first opened in Discovery Times Square last year. The 2,774 square foot space in the north wing has been vacant since 2000 and the lease will require Valastro to spend $2 million revamping the soon-to-open store. The New York Post reports that the The Port Authority’s board is expected to approve the deal later today.
