A fundraiser for the Red Hook Initiative Teen Chef Program was held last night at Seersucker in Carroll Gardens. The program will teach 16-19 year-olds about food, food preparation, and basic kitchen skills both at the initiative center and at local restaurants like Seersucker. A cookoff will be held between teens in the program and local chefs on August 17. Restaurants interested in participating should visit www.rhicenter.org. [CGP]
