David Chang writes about all the things he ate on a recent trip to Hong Kong for Vanity Fair. His account of an experience at a cheap food court: "I point to an item that has egg and meat Kanji characters in it and hope for the best. I get a bowl of hammered eggs, fried cutlet of meat, and instant ramen noodles—everyone else in the food court is eating beef on rice...Pretty sure they gave me the tourist special." [VF]
